CPS Taking Part In The Boost Education East London Spelling Bee Championship 2015/16

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to let you know that we have entered into the Boost Education East London Spelling Bee Championship 2015/16.

The competition will be grouped into Years 1 & 2, Years 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6 with knockout stages taking place in each group throughout the year.

30 students from each group will go into the championship final, which will be held at a prestigious venue in Redbridge next year July 2016. (Date and Venue TBC)

There will be a total of 300 words to learn throughout the year and words will be issued in stages throughout the academic year. All spelling words will be in line with the new 2014 National Curriculum.

There will be fantastic prizes to be won and certificates will be issued throughout the year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to develop on their spellings, vocabulary and memory!

We will be issuing the first 100 list of spelling words to students with this letter.

An overview of the competition will also be emailed out to you.
